" We can make a difference...." This was the opinion of our Governing Board as we consider the needs of Dormitory Doisaket at our last meeting. This is the Hmong orphanage in Chiang Mai, Thailand that we recently learned of.

Thank you for those who contributed to the Christmas gift we sent the children (you still make give, if you like) This gift was gratefully received when Don and Pon Price delivered on our behalf.

Their visit to the orphanage revealed some work that WE can do in addition to the need for a new truck.

• The home's metal roof has a few holes that need to be repaired.
• The children's rooms need screens
• They desire to provide a covered area outside where the children can do their school work away from the heat of the building.

For the next few months we will raise some funds for the orphanage in this way. One Sunday each month. Pastor and family will prepar a meal for the entire congregation. The meal is free and open to any who come that Sunday. We simply ask you to contribute whatever you would have spent on your Sunday dinner for that day. All monies received will go to the orphanage. We plan to begine on January 31st.
